| How will InternetShield help me? |
InternetShield is a simple application that moves defined websites into Internet Explorer’s Restricted Zone, and enables tight controls on the Restricted Zone in order to protect the user from privacy and security exploits from those websites.
InternetShield relies on a website definition file that places websites into the restricted zone based on determinations made by InternetShield’s publisher. This website definition file is updated as new sites are deemed to be candidates for the Restricted Zone.
Users may download an evaluation version of InternetShield which is limited to automatically managing 20 website domains. The default download of InternetShield will include a base definition file that may be out of date, but that will contain all of the sites known at the time the download package is produced.
InternetShield extends your Internet Explorer with the latest in Security and Privacy technology to prevent:
• Java script exploits
• Java security holes
• Rogue ActiveX controls
• Unwanted and malicious downloads
• Unneeded cookies
• And Much More!
